Never alone.

Rabbi Fischer has created an army program, allowing students who are learning in yeshiva to participate in a pre-army training (mechina style) program preparing them for service in the IDF.

The program also provides housing for currently serving IDF soldiers who are Fischer’s alumni, and support for post-service veterans of the program.

  • The Yeshiva provides a beautiful campus with a fully stocked library, Beis Medrash, classrooms, and workspaces for our students to excel in their studies with comfort and ease-of-mind.

  • The curriculum of Fischer’sU is embedded in the Yeshiva’s daily schedule where our educational development, while essential and beneficial for the soul, will also allow one to receive full credits towards a Bachelor’s degree.

Fischer’sU also helps our students earn their degree through accommodating their unique developmental and cultural needs when necessary.

  • This Degree is a Bachelor’s of Talmudic Law whose current status is recognized by AARTS accredited programs in the United States. Through YIEP, graduating students will be able to enter a variety of fully accredited Master’s Degree programs, as well as applying credits to a variety of alternative Undergraduate Degrees.

Providing for each soldier’s specific needs.

Our goal is to prepare you for a successful service in the IDF. From getting into shape, to learning Hebrew, to knowing and exploring your options in the army. If you are willing to put in the hard work, we will make sure you have the tools to succeed in your IDF service.

  • We’ve constructed the schedule to flow seamlessly with Yeshiva, as well as personalizing for each student to help them feel their best.

  • Tests are presented monthly to ensure personal and professional development, enabling students to internalize their learning.

  • In conclusion, our mission is:

    • To provide a rigorous curriculum of educational learning, affording students to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in a warm Torah-based environment

    • Developing people who spread their light

    • Create opportunities for our students to receive their Degrees, even their Master’s Degree, without having to leave Yeshiva

The participants will be regular yeshiva students like everyone else.

However, in addition to yeshiva studies, they will:

The pre-draft curriculum will begin each year a few weeks after the start of Elul Zman, and will finish at the end of the yeshiva year.

OUR MISSION

Our goal is to prepare you for a successful service in the IDF. From getting into shape, to learning Hebrew, to knowing and exploring your options in the army. If you are willing to put in the hard work, we will make sure you have the tools to succeed in your IDF service.

We want to put the right person in the right place, at all times. We as a program rely heavily on guidance from Rabbi Fischer and Yeshiva Rebbeim on what the right decision is for each student.

We are not looking to draft as many students as we can, we are looking to draft the correct students, through Torah guidance from Rabbi Fischer and the Rebbeim.

 FAQs

  • If you fit the the following description, this is the program for you:

    • A student (current or future) in Fischer’s Yeshiva

    • Interested in drafting to the IDF in a combat role

    • Have the understanding that drafting to the IDF (especially as a non-Israeli) is something that needs a lot of hard work and preparation, and you are committed to working hard

There is no minimum fitness or Hebrew level required to join the Holy Warriors Program. We will give you the tools to build yourself up from whatever level you’re at.

  • We have a community of over thirty Lone Soldiers who are alumni of Fischer’s Yeshiva. Our alumni have been in a variety of combat units, including religious units, special forces units, infantry units, and many have served in command roles in their units. Our program directors both served in special forces units and saw combat in Judea & Samaria, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and on October 7th. They both have extensive previous experience working in pre-draft IDF preparation programs, and know exactly how to help pre-draftees fulfill their goals of a successful and meaningful IDF service.

We understand that coming from abroad to draft as a religious Lone Soldier comes with complications. There is a large amount of decisions to be made for each Yeshiva student who is considering IDF service. Rabbi Fischer has nearly a decade of experience working with Yeshiva students considering the army. He understands exactly how to advise each student to the path that is most correct for the student, in terms of religion, army, unit placement, method and time of drafting, Israel, Aliyah, and all other related topics. Rabbi Fischer is very intimately involved in each student who is considering the army, and without his knowledge and wisdom the program would not look the same.

Our program is small, and personalized. No one falls through the cracks. We make sure that anyone willing to put in the effort, will be given the proper tools to succeed.

  • Once you are enrolled in Fischer’s, you can reach out to our program directors. From there you will be interviewed, and the decision of your acceptance into the Holy Warriors Program will be made in collaboration with Rabbi Fischer, the program directors, and the student.

We are looking to put each student in the best position to succeed, which means something a little different in each situation.

You can also reach out directly to our program directors at holywarriorsprogram@gmail.com.

  • As part of the program, Fischer’s Yeshiva provides housing for soldiers currently in the army, and for pre draftees in the time immediately before their draft.

We provide a large, spacious house on Moshav Matityahu which is shared by the soldiers who enjoy rent subsidies and many benefits provided by the Holy Warriors Program. In addition, the house is in close proximity to Fischer’s Yeshiva, and all the wonderful learning, davening, meals, campus and general support.

When our students draft, they remain in close contact with Rabbi Fischer and their Rebbeim in yeshiva. The Rebbeim are always there to provide the proper Torah and life guidance to each participant when facing challenges in the army and in life.

In loving memory of Or Manzur.

The Holy Warriors Program is in memory of First Sergeant Or Manzur z”l, who was a close friend and brother-in-arms of one of the founders of the Holy Warriors Program. Or served in the elite Egoz commando unit and fell in battle in Lebanon on Erev Rosh Hashanah,  כ”ט אלול ה’תשפ”ד. Or (whose name translates to Light), was truly a light for everyone around him. Even in tough situations, he always had a smile and an encouraging word. His light lifted up everyone around him, and therefore it was clear to us that Or represents the values we want in our program.

In addition to a ferocious commando warrior, Or was a musician and singer with divine grace. And the wonderful melody of our beloved Or cannot be stopped. Or would frequently perform at Egoz Unit ceremonies, and even performed on stage alongside renowned Israeli artists at concerts.
